We had another long drive today. We were out in the countryside with herds of sheep and goats and cows in the road holding up traffic!

We arrived at Dharemsala and shifted from Hinduism to Buddhism. We entered Norbulingka. It is a peaceful and beautiful haven with a cafe, a temple and a training centre for people who escaped Tibet and need to learn new skills.

A local guide, a fellow who escaped Tibet with his family as a child, took us around and showed us the arts and crafts people are learning.

We checked into our hotel and ended the day at a restaurant that served delicious Tibetan food.
